Building Lives Through the Word

Bible Ministry Center (BMC) Ministry

The Bible Ministry Center (BMC) at the University of the Nations Jeju provides training to help people study, obey, and teach God’s Word inductively, establishing Scripture not simply as knowledge, but as the standard that transforms lives. The center aims to help individual Christians study and obey the Word so that individuals, churches, regions, generations, and every area of life may be aligned with God’s perspective.

The Bible Ministry Center is divided into five ministry teams: the Domestic Team, Overseas Team, Online Ministry Team, TKG Devotional Team, and KBC Team.

– The Domestic and Overseas Teams focus on pioneering and supporting Bible schools both in Korea and internationally. They operate and expand programs such as the School of Biblical Studies (SBS/BESBS/PSBS), Discipleship Bible School (DBS/BEDBS/PDBS), and Bible Core Course (BCC/BEBCC). They also facilitate networking ministries so that Bible schools and ministers can work together organically and collaboratively.
In addition, through Bible overview seminars, genre and book-specific Bible seminars, Bible study method seminars, pastors’ seminars, and Q&A IBS seminars, they help believers and ministers understand Scripture more accurately, apply it to their lives, and teach it effectively.

– The KBC Team serves the next generation through Kids Bible Camp (KBC). Through curriculum development, publishing, educational programs, teaching materials, and teacher training seminars, they support churches in continuing Bible education for children.

– The TKG Devotional Team continues daily online inductive devotionals through the To Know God (TKG) ministry, building spiritual rhythms connected to Scripture application and intercessory prayer.

– The Online Ministry Team serves by helping Christians access Bible teachings online.

In addition, through publishing ministries—including KBC materials, inductive Bible study resources for each book of the Bible, and IBS materials—the center continues expanding opportunities for more believers and churches to learn and be trained in the Word without limitations of time or location.

Ministry Overview
Currently, 27 full-time staff and 20 associate staff members—a total of 47 staff—serve together in community. The ministry is active in 18 Bible schools and regular seminars throughout Korea, as well as in 27 Bible schools and seminaries across 15 countries overseas.

In 2025, BMC served through a total of 329 lectures: 189 domestic lectures (57.5%) and 140 international lectures (42.5%). In 2026, the ministry plans to continue pioneering schools and serving through teaching in various regions both domestically and internationally.

Ministry Introductions

1.TKG (To Know God) Devotional Ministry
The To Know God devotional series is a devotional ministry designed to help Christians know God and live according to His Word.
This ministry emphasizes:

  • inductive devotionals rather than subjective interpretation,
  • daily online devotionals,
  • applying the clear message of Scripture to life,
  • and prayer rooted in God’s Word for the nations and the world.

The TKG devotional ministry supports Christians in living devotional lives both online and offline. Participants can engage daily through audio devotionals and written devotionals online. Through Naver Band, monthly devotional booklets can be downloaded free of charge as PDF files, and all previously completed devotionals covering 33 books of the Old and New Testaments are also available for free download. Devotionals are additionally accessible through the TKG mobile app, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.

Whenever the devotional focus changes to a new book of the Bible, TKG Live (real-time online lectures) is held to provide teaching on that book, while TKG Wave in Zoom operates online devotional small groups simultaneously.

2. KBC (Kids Bible Camp) Ministry
KBC is a program designed to help children learn and apply one book of the Bible through Bible camps.
The KBC Team primarily focuses on developing and publishing Bible camp materials. They provide teacher training seminars and also directly serve camps so that local churches and mission fields can utilize KBC materials effectively.
In addition, materials are being translated into various languages for use on mission fields. Ministries have already been conducted among teachers and children in countries such as Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, and Vietnam. In 2026, ministries are planned in Nepal and Cambodia, where these materials are expected to continue being actively used.

The curriculum consists of both teacher editions and student editions. Teacher materials include QR-code access to teacher training videos, sermon videos, theme songs, and Scripture songs. Currently, six books have been published: Genesis, Joshua, Ruth, Jonah, Mark, and Philemon, with additional publications continuing to be developed.

Currently, KBC has conducted teacher training seminars and camps in over 50 churches in Korea, six YWAM Korea bases, and five overseas countries.

3. Online Ministry

The Online Ministry exists to help Christians learn and live out the Word of God without limitations of time or location. Through YouTube and Podbbang, believers can access teachings covering all 66 books of the Bible as well as various seminar lectures.

4. Overseas Ministry
The BMC Overseas Team currently serves in 15 countries around the world. Below are several examples of ongoing ministries.

1) Bible School for Missionaries in T Country (TMSBS)
In addition to existing ministries, BMC is operating an SBS program for missionaries serving in T Country in order to train them as Bible ministers and support the establishment of Bible schools for local believers.
Staff members are sent in three-month rotations, and lecturers are continuously provided to strengthen the school’s foundation.
All staff and lecturers serve bi-vocationally, covering airfare and living expenses personally.

2) Mexico Ministry
This ministry newly began in 2026.
From May 14 to June 9, 2026, BMC is expanding mission ministry through Bible teaching at the Bible College (Pastoral Training for Latin America) at the YWAM Maneadero base in Mexico, as well as Bible ministries in local churches in Punta Colonet and Valle de la Trinidad.
Long-term cooperation with the base is planned so that the Bible college may continue sustainably.

3) Mongolia Ministry
(1) Translation and Publishing Ministry
To provide introductory Old Testament resources for Mongolian Christians, BMC collaborated with the Ulaanbaatar and Darkhan bases to translate and officially publish The Old Testament Through Chronology in Mongolian.
A publication celebration and Bible seminars were held from April 13–18, and further Old Testament seminars are planned around this resource.

(2) Bible School Support Ministry
BMC is supporting DBS (February–May 2026) and SBS (September 2026–May 2027) programs at the YWAM Ulaanbaatar base by sending lecturers to help the schools operate smoothly.

(3) Children’s Ministry
This ministry translates KBC materials and provides teacher training seminars so that local children’s ministers can conduct Bible camps for children.
Currently, Joshua and Jonah have been translated and are already being used in camps, while the Philemon curriculum is still in translation.

5. Domestic Team Ministry

The Domestic Team supports the operation of 18 Bible schools and regular seminars throughout Korea by providing teaching and educational resources. In 2026, the team is also partnering with and supporting the establishment of the Mokpo BESBS Old Testament School and the Gwangju BESBS New Testament School.

In particular, the team has launched the MBS (Mothers Bible Study) ministry for women in the Jeju region, creating joyful opportunities for women who desire to build their faith through God’s Word. Pastors’ intensive seminars are also planned for the future.

The ministry of the Word is foundational to every ministry and absolutely essential on the mission field. Whenever we visit mission fields and teach Scripture, we are reminded that people throughout the world are suffering from a famine of God’s Word and are desperately thirsty for truth.
At the same time, whenever we see the joyful smiles and hear the gratitude of people who are learning the Bible, the exhaustion from long flights and full days of teaching is transformed into thanksgiving and joy.

We are deeply grateful that God has entrusted His Word to weak people like us, and that there are nations calling out for the teaching of Scripture.
Please pray that this ministry may be used to reveal God’s glory and help satisfy the famine of God’s Word among the nations.
