A Campus Where God Still Works

The summer seemed like it would never end,
but sooner than expected, the rains of autumn have come to Jeju.
This year, our island has seen an unusually long and heavy rainy season,—
almost like a subtropical monsoon.
And now, as we approach the final months of 2025,
we reflect with gratitude on what God continues to do among us.
On campus, we are midway through the Fall Quarter,
and already preparing for the Winter Quarter ahead.
The School of Biblical Studies (SBS) and Family Ministry School (FMS) students,
together with the entire UofN Jeju community,
are walking through this rainy autumn season with faith and perseverance.
In November, a special project called Backpack Mission will take place in Central Asia.
As an opportunity for young people to experience missions firsthand,
those who once only dreamed of missions will now step into the field,
traveling simply with a backpack and an open heart.
It may not be easy, but they will experience the realities of the mission field—
the heat, the struggle, and the joy of serving Christ among the nations.
The With Bible Team, having concluded another term of Bible DTS, recently returned from outreach in Eastern Europe, Southern Africa, and Southeast Asia
is now preparing for the next Discipleship Bible School (DBS).
Following the end of POS DTS, the Crossroads DTS will soon begin,
and the Foundations for Counseling Ministry (FCM) will open at the end of November.
We are praying that more young people will come to this campus
to meet God, to be transformed, and to be sent out to the nations.
And finally, after many years,
we have begun the long-awaited renovation of Building D, which has served as
the DTS dormitory that has housed generations of students since 1998.
Our staff have already started the work of tearing down, repairing, and rebuilding with their own hands,
from plumbing and electrical systems to windows, heating, roofing, and shower booths.
It is hard work, but it is also worship.
We are looking for those who can come and help on-site,
and for those who will partner from afar through prayer and support.
Through your prayers and encouragement,
the UofN Jeju community continues to live and serve with joy.
Thank you for standing with us.
We love and bless you in Jesus’ name.
