“Rebuilt by the Sweat of the Community”

Over the past 20 years, countless people have been nurtured into disciples of Christ through the University of the Nations Jeju. This has been a great reward and joy for us.

During this time, many young people attending DTS have stayed in Building D. It has been more than just a dormitory; it has been a home for living in community, a place to care for one another and learn consideration and service. Though each person brought different personalities, interests, and habits, this space bears the marks of the earnest desire to be transformed into God’s disciples. It has been a place where conflicts, struggles, laughter, and tears were shared, making it a cherished space that carries meaning far beyond the concept of simple accommodation.

Now, we are planning a full renovation to welcome the many young people who will come in the future. The old showers and restrooms will be completely rebuilt to create more comfortable facilities. A new lecture room of approximately 33 pyeong (about 1,150 sq. ft.) will be constructed, and the existing dormitories will be upgraded with improved insulation and soundproofing to provide warmer and quieter living spaces. The exterior walls and roof of the building will also be refurbished.

These changes will be carried out with the dedicated efforts of the UofN Jeju staff. Through much hard work and labor, we look forward to the day when young people who come here can worship freely and experience holy transformation before God’s Word in this renewed space.

Join Us in Building Together — Mission Builder Recruitment

Building D, a dormitory where God has been raising disciples of all generations, is being renovated.
 This project is more than just construction — it is a communal act of worship and a journey of faith to build a foundation for the next generation.

The University of the Nations Jeju is now inviting Mission Builders to join in the Building D remodeling project.
 No professional skills are required. Whether you hold a hammer or join us in prayer, this is God’s calling for us to “build together.”

📅 Period: October 15 – December 26, 2025
 📍 Location: Building D, University of the Nations Jeju (Accommodation and Classroom Remodeling Site)

🔧 Main Remodeling Work

  • Reinstallation of asphalt shingle roofing
  • Removal and reinstallation of exterior PVC siding
  • Demolition and reconstruction of showers and restrooms
  • Construction of new classrooms and installation of heating & cooling systems
  • Ceiling soundproofing and insulation

🙌 Who We’re Looking For

  • Those with skills in construction (design, electricity, plumbing, interior work, etc.)
  • Those who may not have technical skills but have a heart to help
  • Those who can serve for at least one week (meals and lodging provided)
