CYP DTS Outreach Testimonies
We asked a simple question to the graduates of the CYP DTS, and the answers were remarkable. God is still moving here, touching His children, and raising them as ambassadors to go out into new territories and the nations. Let’s hear from five of our CYP DTS students.

Yesa Kim
Q: What God did you encounter in DTS?
A:
The God who comforts and embraces. Even when I was too weak to stand and could only sit down and ask questions, He waited patiently for me and humbled Himself to embrace me. But He didn’t stop there; He strengthened me, woke me up, and ultimately gave me the strength to fight and experience victory.

Q: What grace did you receive in DTS?
A:
The greatest grace I received from DTS was realizing my true identity. Above all, I deeply felt that I am a child of God, loved by Him. During the outreach, I also realized that even my weaknesses are precious in God’s hands. I saw God working even through my weakness, and I am truly thankful and moved to witness that all the glory goes to Him.

The God I met in DTS is the Father, the One who never gives up on me.

Q: What God did you encounter in DTS?
A:
I experienced the God who prepares, and I learned how joyful it is to hear His voice and obey it. During the outreach, I was afraid to share the gospel, but as I obeyed in faith and shared, the amazing thing was that the person came to church the next day and accepted Jesus. Through this, I deeply experienced that when I obey, God works.

Seonghyun Park
Q: What grace did you receive in DTS?
A:
During the lecture phase, I felt God’s living presence in an undeniable way. During one-on-one time, I prayed with my leader, “Let’s see if God is truly alive and hear His voice,” and at that moment, God called my name and said, “Seonghyun, Seonghyun. I am the God you doubt so much. Trust Me.” In the face of His powerful voice, I experienced God directly.
Another thing I realized was how small and insignificant I truly am. Before the outreach, I thought I would do well, but when I went into the field, I saw my unpolished self. I experienced my immaturity and inadequacy, and I deeply felt the need to be broken before God. After going through that process, I became freer. Now, I am more certain that it’s not about me, but that God is working.
Thank you for sharing.
I sincerely support and encourage the CYP DTS brothers and sisters who are fulfilling their role as light and salt as disciples of Jesus!
