UofN Jeju, A Youth Missions Movement Embracing All Generations!

YWAM Jeju’s vision statement introduces us as “an international family community and a missionary movement for making disciples of all nations.” In essence, YWAM Jeju is a missions movement that follows Jesus’ Great Commission, with a calling to multiply this sacred mission across generations.
Furthermore, we are called to live together with people from diverse cultures and countries, learning and sharing the Gospel. This identity brings us to ask important questions:
- “How can we mobilize more young people to join the mission field?”
- “What kind of training can we offer to multiply the leadership of young missionaries?”
- “How can we build a truly international learning community?”
- “How can YWAM Jeju expand its influence in society (7 Spheres of Society)?”
- “How can we further develop the Oral Mother Tongue (OMT) movement and involve young people in leading this effort?”
These questions are not only essential to the continuation of our mission but also crucial for expanding our impact. YWAM Jeju is currently working on new training programs to answer these questions.
New Programs on the Horizon:
- November 2025: Ignite DTS, Hospitality Administration 1 (Hotel/Tourism Services Administration 1)
- May 2026: LTS (Leadership Training School)
- November 2026: BTPS (Biblical Teaching and Preaching School)
- 2026-2027: CAR (Children at Risk)
- August 2027: APLC (Applied Practical Leadership Course)
Engaging the Youth in Missions
In November 2025, YWAM Jeju will launch its first English-only DTS program, Ignite DTS. Young people from various countries will be trained, particularly in skills for the Oral Mother Tongue (OMT) ministry, which provides resources for people groups who do not have the Bible in their native language. This program will also offer outreach experiences, enabling students to apply what they learn.
Additionally, YWAM Jeju is preparing a school called Children at Risk (12-week program), which will train young people interested in justice, human rights, and social care. The program will focus on practical tools for serving children in crisis—such as those affected by war, famine, trafficking, abuse, and other social issues. Developing the Next Generation of Missions Leaders
Training youth is not just about giving them opportunities; it is about providing them with the hands-on leadership training necessary for effective ministry. In May 2026, we will host the Leadership Training School (LTS) in Jeju, with about 250 leaders from all over the world gathering to learn and grow in missions leadership. This LTS aims to multiply new leaders who will serve around the globe and share the DNA of YWAM.
In August 2027, we will offer the Applied Practical Leadership Course (APLC, 6 weeks), which will address the practical challenges faced by young leaders in the mission field. This course is designed to equip them with actionable answers and skills.

Moreover, to enhance the speaking and teaching abilities of leaders, we are introducing the Biblical Teaching and Preaching School (BTPS) in November 2026. Participants will learn and practice the art of biblical preaching and teaching to become impactful ministers of God’s word.

Hotel/Tourism Studies Associate Degree (UofN)
YWAM Jeju will also collaborate with Hospitality International, a YWAM ministry, to offer an Associate Degree in Hotel and Tourism Services starting in November 2025. The first course, Hospitality Administration 1, will be offered in both English and Korean alongside Hospitality International (Jeju). Participants will receive hands-on experience in major hotels in Asia and will be equipped to lead in the hospitality sector, making a difference for the Kingdom of God.

YWAM Jeju is preparing for the expansion of its vision and the fulfillment of the revival promised for this generation. We aim to continue proclaiming the gospel, training more people, and sending them to the nations. We ask for your prayers as we believe God will continue to lead this movement into deeper, broader, and stronger territories.
